Report on events, winners and prize money awarded (£15) for Settlement Sports Mtg on 13 June 1942. Events diverse, including: Spearing banana trunk, “Trible fight”, boys and girls, men’s and married women’s races, boy scouts display, pillow fight, bullock riding, spring board woodchop and other wood-chopping events, “Old Buffers Race”, “Bending Race”.
