Description
"YARRABAH aboriginal mission station, which is beyond Cairns, made a successful appeal through the Queensland Cricket Association for old material to start a club. A letter received from the mission this week stated that the 'boys' were working hard preparing a pitch, and a ground in preparation for the parcel of cricket goods which should be there in time to be a Christmas gift. The material has been used by clubs; but it is in good enough order, and there is sufficient of it to provide months of recreation and pleasure at Yarrabah."
